Cypress Hill Announce First All-Spanish Album 'Dios Bendiga'
The LA legends return to their roots on July 24.
Cypress Hill is going back to where it started. The Los Angeles trio — pioneers who helped kick open the door for Latino artists in hip-hop more than three decades ago — will release "Dios Bendiga," their first album recorded entirely in Spanish, on July 24.
It's the group's first studio LP in over four years, produced by Grammy-nominated DJ Flict, whose résumé includes Snoop Dogg and Lauryn Hill. Guests include Alemán, Trueno and a wave of emerging Latin American artists.
Released through HYBE Latin America's Mexico City division, the project leans into themes of perseverance, unity and cultural pride — a full-circle moment for a crew that's always worn its heritage on its sleeve.
