Davido Announces Sixth Studio Album 'ORIADÉ'
The Afrobeats superstar sets a July 31 release and shares 'I Know Who I Be.'
Davido is lining up his next chapter. The five-time Grammy-nominated Afrobeats superstar has announced his sixth studio album, "ORIADÉ," set for release July 31, with lead single "I Know Who I Be" already out and centered on self-belief.
The title fuses the Yoruba words "Ori" (head, or destiny) and "Adé" (crown), and Davido framed the project around purpose and identity. "ORIADÉ is about purpose," he said. "It's about understanding that before the world recognizes you, before the accolades, before the success, there's a version of you that already knows who you're meant to become."
The announcement lands during Davido's 15-year milestone in music. It follows his 2025 album "5IVE," a 42-date sold-out tour and a Coachella debut, and arrives on the heels of his FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack cut "No Place Like Home" with Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado.
