Twista is facing real consequences from the IRS. The Chicago speed-rap legend — once crowned the world's fastest rapper — pleaded guilty to five counts of willfully failing to pay his taxes across five years, from 2019 through 2023. Born Carl Mitchell, he owes more than $440,000 in back taxes.

He now faces up to five years in prison, according to Chicago federal court documents. Each of the five counts carries a maximum of one year behind bars along with a $25,000 fine.

Twista entered the guilty plea on Wednesday (June 24), and the court accepted it. He's scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 22.
